（金边讯）柬埔寨总理洪森亲王表示，即将于本周日（23日）举行的第7届国会选举（全国大选）除了是18个政党角逐国会议席外，也是18个参选政党与想要破坏选举的极端分子之间的竞争。

洪森总理于本月19日上午通过推特（Twitter）发文写道：“2023年全国大选除了是18个政党角逐国会议席外，也是18个参选政党与想要破坏选举的极端分子之间的竞争。”

亲王接着说：“已被判刑并正在流亡海外的一名罪犯指使在柬埔寨的某个政党的极端分子，寻求一切手段破坏柬埔寨民主进程，试图扰乱选举，例如开展活动阻止人们投票，或者教唆选民投废票等。”

亲王还表示：“2023年7月23日，参加投票的民主力量会多于还是少于试图破坏民主和选举的力量呢？让我们刮目相看。”

据了解，继已被判刑并正在流亡海外沈良西煽动人民不要去投票的阴谋失败后，最近反对派又发动了新运动，试图教唆选民投废票。

据于2023年7月4日正式生效的《选举法修正案》第142条款规定，煽动或阻止人民去投票，或者投废票属于违法的罪行。该罪行将被罚款从500万至2000万柬币，还将被追究刑事责任。
